Developed during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tetra Vent Splitter was created by a globally distributed team of engineers, medical professionals, designers, and project managers who met through Helpful Engineering.

Designed as a last-resort emergency device, the system expands a single ventilator's capacity to support up to four patients while providing individual airflow control and monitoring.
